Hi 👋
I’ve never done one of those ‘face to a name’ posts, so here goes. Here’s a few shots of me – usually out with a camera, whether I’m exploring or with my family.

With wedding season wrapping up, I’ve been reflecting on this year – just over a decade since I shot my first wedding back in 2013. It feels good to know I’m still here for the right reasons, and it’s been amazing to receive so many 5-star Google reviews. Hearing that my couples are so happy with their photos means the world to me and gives me even more energy to keep pushing what I do.

After all this time, I haven’t grown tired of my approach or style – I’m ever-evolving, always learning, and feeling more inspired than ever. Each wedding still feels fresh because, at the heart of it, my focus is always on the people and how I can make them feel in those moments. I always think about that quote, ‘People don’t remember what you said or did; they remember how you made them feel.’
When I’m doing my job right, I’m there not just to capture moments but to create a space where people feel comfortable, celebrated, and like their true selves.

I’ve got a bit of a break now, so you’ll probably find me photographing parties at the London Library with Helena Bonham Carter (name drop! Such a wild job to have), hanging out with local families for family shoots, spending more time with my own family in St Leonards, and researching new alt-country music every Friday at @musicsnotdead in the De La Warr. I’ll be riding along the seafront when it’s not raining and have a workshop booked that’s going to inspire the heck out of me.
My 2025 season begins in March, and there’s a lot to get ready for.

Yesterday, I had the joy of photographing an incredible wedding for the most kind and joyful couple ❤️
It was great to work alongside the talented @makeoverbox_hairandmakeup again.

@theredfords got everyone dancing straight away, playing all the hits, I highly recommend you all book this band!

Dale is more than you could ever wish for in a photographer, he is a calm and reassuring presence, full of lovely ideas and a great eye for capturing your day in a non-pretenious and completely timeless style.

Ten separate people at our wedding specifically mentioned how incredible they thought he was - our mums absolutely loved him. He is a kind, gentle and reassuring presence on your day and fitted in seamlessly - from helping with buttonholes, advising us on the best way to fit a veil and effortlessly coordinating our bonkers family. My bridesmaid and friend put it perfectly - "at first I thought it would be a bit strange for a random bloke to photograph us while we were getting ready, but within 5 minutes it felt like he was an old friend .."

It does help that in addition to all of this, he's completely reliable, organised and a fantastic communicator, oh yeh and he takes absolutely stunning photos. My mum said they were the nicest wedding photos she had ever seen, because he managed to capture the joy of the day in a totally natural way that felt authentic to us and our loved ones. He doesn't need any more good reviews, but trust me when I say that you will not get any better than Dale "
