Laid-Back Festival Wedding
Kids at weddings, are you Team For or Team Against? Tialer and Chris wanted a relaxed, lighthearted day for their guests big and small at their June wedding. They chose a laid-back, festival wedding theme which suited their personalities to a tee. With a young family myself, I always love capturing the endearing moments of children at weddings. They might bring a little bit of chaos to proceedings, and behave in unexpected ways, but it only helps to add to the memories.
Festival Wedding Venue in Cambridge
A laid-back venue was a must so they chose Willow Grange Farm in Chittering near Cambridge to host their day. Complete with bell tents so their guests could all stay together, Willow Grange Farm provided a carefree canvas for Tialer and Chris to embrace a boho, festival theme to celebrate their love of the outdoors.
The Laid-back, Festival Wedding Dream Team
Tialer and Chris furthered their love of nature by keeping sustainability in mind. They hired most of the aspects of their wedding decor – even the dried flowers came from Array Wedding And Event Hire. Tialer wore a boho-inspired wedding gown from E&W Couture. Florals, inspired by wildflower fields, were by Cecilia’s Flowers. Their personal ceremony was a big hit with the guests and conducted by India Bel Ceremonies.
Punk-Pop Wedding Songs
No laid-back, festival wedding is complete without an alternative playlist. Tialer and Chris walked down the aisle to an instrumental version of one of their favourite songs – I Miss You by blink-182. For signing of the register, the played Real Love Baby by Father John Misty and Still Into You by Paramore to walk back down the aisle. If you’re looking for an alternative indie first dance song, they chose Only Love by Ben Howard. Tialer and Chris closed up the night by moshing to Slipknot after some tequila!
